'Jeanne' - Feet

The feet have, without a doubt, been the hardest thing so far. Which is rather aggravating given how little attention would be given to them in a game. To make things somewhat easier for myself I've made these so that they don't actually fit the feet on the base mesh. The inside of the base foot clips through the sollerets a lot as it approaches the toes. Getting the shoes to actually fit the foot would have made them look like duck feet. So I decided to cheat and pretend they fit since I'm going to be cutting off the base feet anyways.

I'm not sure if I've made the rivets large enough or not, and right now the model feels even more plain than the legs. Unlike with the legs, I've got no idea how to fix that. I'd like to put some sort of decoration on the top of the toe piece, but I don't think the curves I've been using will work and I have no other ideas. I also don't know what to do for the underside of the feet. I can't just put a metal plate there because that would destroy any articulation this was supposed to have. And modeling a full shoe under there would be a waste of geometry that could be put somewhere people are more likely to see than the underside of the foot. I'll probably just go down that route and hope that baking to a flat surface in the end works out well enough.
